The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Collection by Trish Summerville for H&M

Marni Marni all about Marni

You guys probably already heard that Marni is the next guest designer for H&M.
As you all know that Marni is known for it's prints and vibrant color, here is a quick look.

Influence for the H&M collection is inspired by the brand classics. Such as the pleated skirts, jacquard knits and 7/8 pants! All with tribal meets bauhaus chic. I'm so excited! Can't wait until the 8th of March 2012 to have a look!

Versace's everywhere!

Hi guys, Wai Ying here. So I have been neglecting this blog for a while, what was up with me? Well, I've been shopping a gazillion times in Antwerp because I don't have much time shopping elsewhere, working when I'm not shopping, cut my finger with a razor... Okay no, seriously? I admit, I have an addiction. No, not with clothes, not with nail polishes, not with shoes (I should be damned!)... but with DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. Omygod, I just love that serie, I can watch it aaaaall daaaay and not be bored at all. So that should explain why I "didn't" have time to update this poor blog.

Well, what have I bought lately? Not much though, not much... Because Desperate Housewives is keeping me away from shopping.. I guess.
As you AAAAALLLLLL know 17th November was the big day: The Versace collection for H&M. For those who did not know were probably locked up in a cage or were getting eaten by wolves.
So, did I have any time to queue up there? NO I WAS TOO BUSY WATCHING DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and actually I'm not that crazy. I just buy the leftovers. To be honest, I did peek Thursday in a H&M store; I saw the collection online before and thought it was cute so I went and have a peek. Just a peek, on Thursday. Aaand actually fitted and bought 2 belts on Friday. That's all, just 2 belts.  I'll let you see what I've fitted, I wasn't really fond of the clothes because of its' price tag and it's quality, beside that everything was just fine. Although a lot were sold out already, I did found some things I quite liked. Enjoy what you're going to see :o)

Cute OOTD

The last few weeks are getting colder and colder in Belgium. It dropped from 16°C (60°F) to 6°C (42°F). That's why I'm already sporting my favorite winter gear around town.

Hey Siri, how Marc are you today?

Good day there!

Few weeks ago, the whole world was waiting for the newest, best, most expensive, most die-hard collectable item... The iPhone 4s. They were available since October, 28th in Belgium.

Me, my brother and Sylvia had pre-ordered them and we waited one hour. I can tell you, the iPhone is worth your patience and is worth every penny you've spent for it. It is truly a gift from heaven. (and I mean litteraly; RIP Steve Jobs)

I actually wanted to buy this apple phone because of it's awesome wide range of covers they sell for it. How much money do you want to spend only for an iPhone case? Well I've spent 35 euros for one case designed by our precious Marc Jacobs. It's from the line Marc By Marc Jacobs.

perfect against the European cold

If I (Sylvia) had all the money in the world, I would definitely pick these items for the fall/winter blues. I will try to find these items on a lower budget (and post them ofcourse) in the meantime enjoy!

Oh pih eye. Haul

Soooo, I, me, Au Yeung Wai Ying have been REALLY laaaazy. I have like a VERY busy schedule for school and everyday feels like I've never slept enough. I went back from vacation since a month ago and I would have definitely upload some pictures of my trip if I'd taken any. So all by all, I went to the far east, Hong Kong and even Macau for a few days. Now, I did take pictures of my trip to Macau of the hotel I stayed, but I didn't take any pictures while I stayed in Hong Kong. I guess Hong Kong wasn't worth the pictures because I almost go there every year. But this DO give me an idea, I bought a lot of clothes and I will, definitely, really, upload my summer purchase! But all my clothes are very neatly stocked in my closet and it would be a waste to take all of my clothes out of my very neatly stocked closet, isn't it? But I PROMISE I'll show you my mini collection.

So today's post is about my obsession lately. I really managed to have even MORE nail polishes than I already had. I created an obsession for the nail polishes of OPI. I never really liked OPI because I find them very teuer (expensive for German) and I didn't want to spend any money on nail polishes if it's only going to be on my nails for 2 days. BUT, yep there is a but, on my trip in Hong Kong, I was seeking for any cheap polishes like I do every year, now in Fa Yuen Street I bumped into a nail care store. AND it was like 65hk$. That's about 6,50 euros. Now that's about half the price of one OPI polish here in Belgium. And I did some research of course about how I can distinguish fake from real OPI polishes, and I can tell you, they are authentic (at least the one I picked). Apart from that store, I bought 1 OPI polish for 45$ (this colour won't be in the pictures) and that was real fake! Even the words on it are spelled wrong. Now I'm going to give you some photos of my OPI nail polishes. And I'll show you how much polish I actually have! And there are actually many more, because I sent a package with some stuff in it and I still haven't receive it :o( . While we're all waiting for the post package, enjoy the polishes! :oD Take good care of yourself!

Weddingbells

Hi followers, sorry it took us so long but we had to take retakes and we just ended this week.
This Wednesday we had a wedding to attend. The bride was Wai Ying's godsister. So that day, I (Sylvia), had to rush from my last retake exam (Spanish) to Genk. It was a very hectic day, cause I only had 3 hours to get dressed, to my hair and makeup done and getting there on time. Once arrived I saw the beautiful bride and groom. She had one of the most amazing 'traditional' weddinggowns ever!

Mid-Autumn Festival coming up!

It's been a while but both Sylvia and me are in the midst of our exams. But it's really my turn to post something new! Last week thursday we just discoverd those snowy mooncakes, well actually we've already heard about it, but never got any chance to taste some. Until my mother bought some and at first I totally thought it's just like regular mooncakes apart from the dough. I had something in mind like mooncakes with an icy dough so you had to refrigerate them and eat them cold. I was kind of right about the last part; you do have to eat them cold, but not FREEZING cold. My mother bought us different flavours; such like, mango, mango with pomelo, chocolate crunchy, strawberry crunchy, durian, lychee, tiramisu. We had every single flavour that shop offered! And I tell you; snowy mooncakes are the best! I am soooo addicted to it! We also had some sushi (we absolutely LOOOOOVE all the sushi in the world!) and egg tarts. It just all tasted sooo good; maybe the studying caused all the hunger, aren't you always hungry when you have to study? Or tired or everything just seems so interesting? Here are some pictures of our delicious lunch!

Happy Mother's Day!

Hello everyone!

Since it's Mother's Day, we've made a little poem dedicated to all the mommy's in the world! Actually, everyday should be a Happy Mother's Day because every mother is a hard working mom, and there's is no doubt about that. Everyday she cleans the house, she cooks for the family, she's the one who takes care of everything, don't you think? So lovely blog-readers, show all your love to all your lovely moms on this special day and thank her for being there for you whenever you need her.

Happy mother's day

You taught me to be good,
To greet, to smile, I all did understood.
You told me stories when I was small,
You continued telling till I was 5 feet tall.

You have done so many things to comfort me,
You didn't ask a penny, it was all for free.
So today, please have some fun,
Let me thank you for everything, I love you, mum!
